QA Engineer - HVP

What you will do

• Prepare and review Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and supporting QA documentation.
• Provide technical quality support for the Highview Power Carrington liquid air energy storage project.
• Review supplier and vendor quality documentation and coordinate material certification, welding, NDT and other inspection requirements.
• Coordinate the QA/QC engineering and inspection functions across mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
• Liaise with welding engineers, project engineers, third-party inspectors and client QA departments.
• Maintain quality records in the Business Management System, monitor KPIs, raise continuous improvement forms and perform internal and external audits.

Requirements

• CSWIP Level 3.1 Welding Inspector certification.
• PCN Level 2 certification in MPI/DPI.
• Recognised ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification.
• Good engineering and QA/QC experience, including quality management systems, project QA documentation and supplier documentation reviews.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, NDT techniques, pipe standards and specifications; ability to read isometric drawings and interpret radiographs.
• Computer literacy, Microsoft Office skills, and strong communication and report-writing skills.

Nice to have

• ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
• Radiograph Interpretation qualification or experience.
