Software Integration Lead (SDV): Owning the technical execution of integrating software components into cohesive, reliable builds for next-generation mechatronic systems with an accent on compatibility, build automation, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on troubleshooting complex integration issues, developing supporting scripts, and ensuring high-quality software delivery within a Software Defined Vehicle environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Milford, MI. This role is hybrid and requires reporting to the office at least 3 times per week.

What you will do

• Own the technical execution of integrating software components into reliable builds.
• Collaborate with development and quality teams to ensure component compatibility and functionality.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to support integration workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software compatibility issues.
• Perform thorough checkout testing of builds before handoff.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, integration, or build management.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and version control systems like Git or SVN.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Solid understanding of quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Ability to work on-site in Milford, MI at least 3 times per week.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build orchestration.
• Background in large-scale or distributed software systems.
