Engineering Technical Lead (.NET)

What you will do

• Raise the capability of the engineering squad and support the development of junior engineers.
• Build engineering standards and promote a consistent, whole-team approach to quality.
• Contribute high-quality production code, refactor existing code, and solve complex technical problems.
• Set technical direction through architectural decisions, design patterns, and pragmatic trade-offs.
• Help the squad break down work, remove blockers, and deliver consistently in an evolving Agile environment.
• Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and design discussions without formal performance-management responsibility.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience at Senior Engineer or Technical Lead level.
• Strong commercial experience with .NET Core, C#, and SQL.
• Experience designing and reasoning about distributed systems and modern application architectures.
• Experience working in Agile or squad-based environments and influencing delivery without formal authority.
• Solid experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and Git version control.
