Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; office attendance required two days per week. A valid Netherlands work permit is required.
Salary: €5,000–€7,000 per month based on a 40-hour work week.

What you will do
- Develop AI features end to end for product data management.
- Build solutions for structuring messy product data, categorizing products, and detecting and resolving data quality issues.
- Use proprietary training data to develop and improve AI models.
- Maintain model training and serving infrastructure with internal and external tools.
- Lead projects in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering or AI/ML engineering.
- Strong software engineering foundation with an affinity for machine learning or AI/ML engineering experience.
- Knowledge of Python web development libraries such as FastAPI, Pydantic, asyncio, requests, and SQLAlchemy.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Polars, DuckDB, NLP, and embedding model training.
- Good working knowledge of Linux, Git, and the command line.
- Availability for at least 32 hours per week, attendance at the Utrecht office two days per week, and a valid work permit are required.
