Underwriter Intern (Reinsurance)

What you will do

• Support underwriters with day-to-day exposure analysis and information gathering.
• Assist in pre-qualifying submissions and preparing review summaries.
• Maintain internal trackers to classify submissions and contribute to data insights.
• Partner with the team on deal flow and pipeline management.
• Monitor rate change and portfolio tracking reports.
• Attend broker meetings and gain exposure to external market interactions.

Requirements

• Currently in the penultimate year of study.
• Must have permanent work authorisation in Singapore (Citizen or Permanent Resident).
• Available August–December 2026 with flexibility for full-time or part-time work.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of macros.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
