Underwriter - Sustainable Energy & Power

What you will do

• Develop and implement the underwriting strategy and business plan for Singapore and the APAC region.
• Build a long-term, profitable book of Sustainable Energy and Power business.
• Develop relationships with new and existing brokers and represent hirify.global at meetings, conferences, and industry events.
• Apply underwriting judgement, risk management, aggregation management, and governance controls to monitor exposures within agreed limits.
• Support overseas offices, handle referral approvals, and monitor and report on portfolio performance.
• Improve end-to-end processes and data management while prioritising customer response times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the renewable energy and/or power insurance market.
• Detailed understanding of the business line, current risk factors, underwriting concerns, and the global insurance marketplace.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Existing or developing network of Singapore and international distribution channels.
• Ability to contribute actively in a collaborative and open team environment.
• Proactive approach and commitment to high-quality work.
