What you will do

• Serve as the senior financial advisor and strategic leader to drive firm growth and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain long-term financial forecasts, annual budgets, and performance monitoring systems.
• Provide oversight to the internal accounting team, ensuring accuracy of financial statements and month-end close processes.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital while developing cash forecasting models.
• Implement scalable accounting workflows and automation to reduce manual processes using QBO and Excel.
• Analyze key practice metrics including realization, utilization, WIP, and profitability to support pricing and staffing.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• Prior experience as a CFO, Fractional CFO, Finance Director, or Controller.
• Strong understanding of professional services firm economics.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience building complex financial reporting models and KPI dashboards.
• Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm NY, USA Eastern Time.

• Experience working with CPA, accounting, or legal firms.
• Proven track record in operational transformation and process improvement.
• Familiarity with CCH Axcess Practice Management.
• Experience managing remote and distributed accounting teams.
