What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of 4 security individual contributors.
• Plan and implement comprehensive risk-driven security strategies.
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure security needs are met and strategies are effectively implemented.
• Oversee the security team budget and tool contract management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR and PCI DSS.
• Collaborate with Legal, IT Ops, and Product/Engineering teams to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

• Proven track record of team management and leadership skills.
• Experience in risk management and auditing internal processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex security topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Broad knowledge of security attack vectors and defense strategies.
• Experience with security/privacy regulations like GDPR and PCI DSS.
• Relevant experience in companies operating large-scale production systems or security auditing.
