What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers, owning the end-to-end development process from design to production.
• Guide the implementation of scalable backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript).
• Oversee the development of Angular applications to ensure seamless integration and high UX performance.
• Establish best practices for system design, code quality, and observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
• Partner with Product and DevOps stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and sprint plans.
• Manage team-level processes, including 1:1s, feedback, hiring, and onboarding of new engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise web applications and distributed systems in production.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams and driving technical execution.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable web system architectures.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and relational databases.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, async processing, and clean architecture principles.
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js (TypeScript, NestJS).
• Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or React.
• Experience with non-relational databases (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
