ePhyto Support Specialist (ePhyto): Support the IPPC Secretariat in monitoring and advancing ePhyto implementation, including identifying country-level gaps and coordinating stakeholders on definition, implementation, deployment, testing, acceptance, and rollout. Focus on capacity development, user support, and performance reporting to strengthen national phytosanitary systems under the IPPC framework.

hirify.global hosts the IPPC Secretariat and supports the development and implementation of phytosanitary standards and ePhyto activities.

What you will do

• Develop, with stakeholders and national users, the implementation plan for the IPPC ePhyto Solution.
• Monitor and advance ePhyto implementation, including identifying country-level gaps, expected benefits, and requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on definition, implementation, deployment, test and acceptance, and rollout of the ePhyto solution.
• Provide capacity development and user support for national phytosanitary systems.
• Produce performance reporting to support the IPPC ePhyto implementation.

Requirements

• For Consultants: advanced university degree in agriculture, biology, natural sciences, information technology, phytosanitary sciences, computer science, engineering, international trade/relations, public administration, social sciences, or another related field relevant to IPPC and ePhyto.
• Consultants with a bachelor’s degree must have two additional years of relevant professional experience.
• Work experience in more than one location or area of work.
