What you will do

• Manage product classification, taxonomy, and cross-categorization using AI-assisted tagging and attribution tools.
• Execute bulk product creation and data entry using PIM systems and AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot.
• Coordinate with the imaging team on asset collection, uploading, and metadata optimization.
• Optimize site merchandising, navigation, and on-site search using performance data.
• Collaborate with vendors to maintain clean records and follow up on product information and PO status.
• Conduct competitive shopping and trend analysis using AI to synthesize market reports and customer reviews.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in ecommerce, buying, merchandising, or planning.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) in a professional context.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
• A builder's mindset with a drive to automate manual workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with PIM, ERP, or ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, NetSuite, Salsify, or Akeneo.
• Familiarity with BI/analytics tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or GA4.
• Experience writing advanced prompts or building custom GPTs/Claude Projects.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Apps Script, Python, or no-code automation tools like Zapier and Make.
