Location: Must be based near a data center hub in the U.S. East territory (including NY, NJ, PA, VA, OH, GA, and MA); requires frequent travel (up to 40%) throughout the Eastern corridor.
Salary: $115,000 – $155,000

What you will do
- Lead operations across multiple U.S. East data center sites to ensure uptime and SLA adherence.
- Drive capacity readiness across MW, rack space, and staffing based on customer demand and product roadmaps.
- Manage regional budget performance, forecasts, and vendor costs to optimize operations.
- Standardize SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs across sites to ensure current and auditable documentation.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and oversee incident response effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Product, Network Engineering, Finance, and Legal to support new deployments and manage risk.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) to comply with export control regulations.
- 10+ years of experience in critical facility operations.
- 5+ years in a senior management or multi-site leadership role within data centers or similar mission-critical environments.
- Experience scaling operations in cloud, hyperscale, GPU, or HPC environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business.
- Ability to travel up to 40% and provide occasional after-hours support for critical incidents.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Proficiency with DCIM tools and building management/facility monitoring systems.
- Expertise in change management and organizational improvement.
- Experience building KPI dashboards and executive operational scorecards.
