Salary: $127,000–$165,500 Annual

What you will do

• Lead biomolecular engineering efforts and develop strategies for drug discovery projects.
• Construct recombinant systems encoding protein variants and combinatorial protein libraries.
• Conceptualize and implement high-throughput screening platforms for candidate selection from large panels.
• Devise and optimize tailored protein expression and purification strategies.
• Develop quantitative functional assays to characterize protein performance in vitro and evaluate candidates using in vivo models.
• Collaborate with computational biologists and contribute to decision-making on discovery programs.

Requirements

• PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, bioengineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of post-PhD experience.
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology, protein mutagenesis, and protein biochemistry.
• Expertise in recombinant protein expression and purification.
• Proficiency in protein characterization methods including spectroscopy, SDS-PAGE, western blot, and ELISA.
• Must be able to work onsite in New Hampshire.

Nice to have

• Experience with enzyme analysis.
• High-throughput functional screen development for protein libraries.
• Experience with lab automation.
• Knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS).
