What you will do

  • Lead account strategy and growth initiatives for the VA and federal healthcare market.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior government stakeholders, program leaders, and contracting officials.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities aligned with agency priorities and technology investments.
  • Collaborate with capture, proposal, and technical teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and partner engagements.
  • Provide leadership with pipeline forecasts, market intelligence, and strategic growth recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in federal account management or business development (VA, HHS, NIH, CMS, CDC, or FDA).
  • Must reside within the continental US.
  • Established relationships with VA stakeholders and acquisition organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes, acquisition strategies, and contract vehicles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Existing relationships within VHA, OIT, EHRM, or HDM.
  • Experience supporting federal healthcare IT modernization, interoperability, or cloud initiatives.
  • Experience working with GWACs, IDIQs, and strategic teaming partnerships.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline tracking.
  • Certifications in capture management, business development, or proposals.
