Salary: $100,000 - $200,000 a year

What you will do

  • Plan and conduct investigations into violations of Federal Statutes, including the False Claims Act, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Act.
  • Collaborate with Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) to identify causes of action and determine required proof for legal responsibility.
  • Gather and analyze evidence from documents, emails, financial statements, and computer data to build cases for litigation.
  • Conduct surveillance and interview witnesses, suspects, and government or business representatives.
  • Prepare detailed memos, interim reports, and final findings regarding investigative progress and witness assessments.
  • Provide analytical support by creating audio-visual materials, charts, and graphs for use in motions and trials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in law enforcement, criminal justice, and healthcare fraud investigation.
  • Experience testifying in court matters.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain adjudication for the requisite background investigation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Nice to have

  • CPA Certification.
  • Experience working with a federal or state law enforcement entity.
