What you will do

• Manage accounts receivable by analyzing aged AR and suggesting billed rules to prevent errors.
• Investigate, resolve, and appeal insurance claim denials, including contacting payer representatives.
• Make independent decisions on claim adjustments, resubmissions, and resolution techniques.
• Collaborate with internal Performance, Operations, and Sales teams, as well as care center staff.
• Support large care center "go-lives," which may involve overnight travel.
• Use the Trizetto platform for denial analysis to ensure reimbursement aligns with payer contracts.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• 3+ years of experience in a medical billing office or equivalent claims experience.
• Proficiency with athenaHealth and/or athenaOne.
• Experience with Orthopedic medical claims billing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations.

• Experience with California payers and portals.
