Cybersecurity Technical Communicator (Cybersecurity): Producing written cybersecurity reports for technical, legal, and executive audiences to summarize incident response with an accent on accuracy and high-quality documentation. Location: Must be based in Peoria, IL, Dallas, TX or Nashville, TN. Onsite 5 days a week.

Salary: $81,370 – $122,060

What you will do

• Produce clear and concise communications summarizing incident response for diverse audiences, including legal, executive, and board levels.
• Partner closely with CSIRT to ensure incident data is accurately captured and high-quality documentation is maintained.
• Develop and manage weekly and quarterly reports detailing the critical efforts of the CSIRT.
• Support the CSIRT Readiness team in developing, delivering, and documenting incident response tabletop exercises.
• Create and nurture relationships across incident response, infrastructure, application, and legal teams.

Requirements

• Excellent grammar, editing, and writing skills with strong diligence.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity software, tools, and incident response concepts.
• Experience using Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional tools.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
• Must be able to work onsite at least 5 days a week in specified locations.
• Sponsorship and relocation are not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Communications, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a cybersecurity role.
• Experience in video production and editing.
• Organizational change management experience.
