Salary: $68,100 - $84,000 USD

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions including IAM, endpoint security, firewalls, and email security.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and research threats to implement effective countermeasures.
• Act as the subject matter expert for security-related issues and the primary escalation point for security incidents.
• Collaborate with the Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) and IT teams to investigate and resolve security alerts.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures across the enterprise.
• Provide security engineering expertise throughout all phases of the Technology/Project Life Cycle.

Requirements

• Must be based in the continental U.S.
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technology field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of total IT experience with 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise security solutions.
• Experience with endpoint security, network firewalls, IAM, Single Sign On (SSO), Windows servers, and virtualization technology.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, Cisco Firewalls, Defender Security, VMWare, EDR, XDR, and Cisco Umbrella.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Products including Office 365, Intune, Azure Sentinel, and ATP.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, PenTest+, OSCP, CEH, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or CISA.
