Document Production Associate (Legal): Reviewing and preparing legal documents including spreadsheets and presentations with an accent on accuracy and attention to detail. Focus on transcribing tapes, converting file formats, and utilizing advanced MS Excel functions for data analysis.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in or be able to report to Columbus, OH or Wheeling, WV)

Salary: $16.59 - $22.50 per hour

What you will do

• Create and edit legal documents according to client specifications using applicable software.
• Transcribe tapes, scan, and convert documents between various file formats.
• Recover and restore corrupted document files when necessary.
• Produce complex spreadsheets, charts, and graphs using advanced Excel formulas and functions.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information while ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Intake work requests from clients, negotiate deadlines, and prioritize tasks across the team.

Requirements

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a legal document production environment preferred.
• Expert knowledge of MS Excel, including automation and processing large quantities of data.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), including formatting with Styles and generating Tables of Authorities.
• Strong keyboarding and typing skills with intermediate knowledge of grammar and composition.
• Must be based in or be able to report to Columbus, OH or Wheeling, WV.
