What you will do

• Read and interpret full construction drawing sets, including roof assemblies, flashing, and wall details.
• Perform precise take-offs using Building Connected or STACK to calculate roof square footage and material quantities.
• Determine fastener counts based on wind ratings and building height using specific perimeter enhancement rules.
• Build complete material lists for mechanically attached systems, TPO, PVC, and RhinoBond assemblies.
• Draft professional commercial bid packages and prepare submittal packages for general contractors.
• Support documentation required for AIA billing and closeout packages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (required).
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in commercial estimating or architectural plan review.
• Strong ability to navigate construction blueprints independently and confidently.
• English: Must be easily understood in spoken and written English for professional client conversations.
• High attention to detail and analytical rigor within high-volume bid environments.
