What you will do

• Perform clinical laboratory assays to provide critical data for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
• Conduct quality control studies to maintain the accuracy and reliability of clinical data.
• Verify and calibrate specific laboratory instruments and meticulously document performance data.
• Support continuous process improvement through troubleshooting and training initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (CGMBS or Generalist) is required.
• 0-2 years of CLS experience in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Word, Excel, and familiarity with LIMS systems.
• Availability to work flexible part-time hours (Preferably Saturday AM/PM, Sunday AM, Monday PM).

Nice to have

• Startup experience.
• Knowledge of medical genetics.
• Experience in a cell-free DNA setting and manual molecular biology protocols.
