Salary: $115,000 – $132,000 USD

What you will do

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and personnel performance.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, State, and Federal regulations.
• Review quality control procedures and investigate questionable test results.
• Manage laboratory scheduling, staffing, and budgetary requests for equipment.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate new laboratory staff.
• Collaborate with quality assurance, client services, and clinical research teams.

Requirements

• Active California Department of Public Health CLS or CGMBS license required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a molecular laboratory setting.
• Experience in high-complexity clinical laboratory testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM).
• Proficiency in molecular testing techniques such as PCR, Microarray, or NGS.

Nice to have

• Previous experience serving as a General Supervisor under CLIA.
• Experience with Sanger sequencing.
