What you will do

• Analyze clinical laboratory specimens following standard methods and procedures with high precision.
• Maintain lab equipment in good operating condition and troubleshoot common malfunctions.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory agency requirements and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
• Train on specialized instruments and protocols, serving as a super user and mentor to others.
• Update departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) and databases to reflect current practices.
• Manage Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

• Current California CLS license (Generalist) or CGMBS license.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or equivalent in a clinical laboratory environment.
• BS/BA degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Molecular Biology.
• Ability to work in a BSL-2 lab environment, including standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Must be able to discern color visually.
