What you will do

  • Manage daily lab operations and provide coaching, guidance, and support to the production team.
  • Oversee administrative functions including onboarding, offboarding, timecard review, and performance evaluations.
  • Monitor sample queues, triage sample quality, and troubleshoot robotic errors.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, CLEP) and verify personnel training and competency.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Technical Operations teams to escalate production trends and maintain documentation.
  • Perform specialized tasks based on track (Non-Technical, Technical, or Clinical Abstracting).

Requirements

  • Degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or related field (Associate’s in Nursing for clinical abstracting).
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience depending on degree level (PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's).
  • At least 2 years of experience in laboratory operations, workforce supervision, or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Must be based in Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States.
  • Professional-level mathematical, computer, reasoning, and communication skills.
