What you will do

• Manage daily laboratory operations, including troubleshooting technical and non-technical issues that affect test performance.
• Perform high-complexity testing using electrochemiluminescence, multi-plexed ELISAs, and immunoassays on patient specimens.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, immunoassay analyzers, and Hamilton/Bravo/Workcell platforms.
• Review, interpret, and report patient results while maintaining meticulous quality control documentation.
• Train new laboratory personnel and assist in the introduction and validation of assay improvements.
• Delegate tasks to Laboratory Associates and act as a liaison between staff and supervisors.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
• Bachelor of Arts or Science in Biomedical Laboratory Science, Clinical Science, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laboratory regulations.
• At least 4 years of Clinical Laboratory experience (preferred).
• Strong professionalism, leadership skills, and project management abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience managing clinical laboratory personnel.
• Laboratory testing experience within the last five years.
• Experience working in high-volume laboratory environments.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques.
