Global Supplier Quality Lead (Manufacturing)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Develop and maintain global standard procedures for quality certifications including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, FSSC/ISO 22000, and AS 9100.
• Manage supplier performance through quarterly KPI assessments and annual cross-functional scorecards for strategic vendors.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to digitalize and standardize the supplier quality program for better efficiency.
• Perform on-site and virtual supplier audits to ensure compliance with operational and quality standards.
• Represent the Strategic Sourcing team during customer audits and external certification audits.
• Establish and deliver training programs to build awareness of global quality processes across different functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality, operational quality, strategic sourcing, or supplier sustainability.
• Proven experience working within a company that has a robust vendor quality program.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong process orientation with a proven ability to drive operational enhancements.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience conducting operational quality or ESG-related audits.
• Certification in standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS 9100.
• Quality-specific certifications like CSQP or Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in multiple languages, with Mandarin being preferred.
