What you will do
- Develop and execute a leather procurement strategy optimizing cost, quality, and sustainability.
- Build and expand a global network of leather suppliers, including tanneries and rawhide processors.
- Collaborate with Product Development to maintain a central leather materials library for consistency.
- Analyze global leather market trends to inform strategies and minimize price volatility.
- Negotiate long-term partnerships and favorable terms with key suppliers to drive supply chain value.
- Lead supplier performance management to ensure adherence to ethical and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management specifically within the leather industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience building global supplier networks.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic procurement plans.
- Strong understanding of sustainability regulations and responsible sourcing initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be located in or able to work from Shenzhen, China
