What you will do

• Lead the Drivetrain Brake Mechatronics team to align machine programs with technology requirements.
• Direct the design, development, and validation of control software and algorithms for lower powertrain brake systems.
• Provide long-term stewardship of legacy business technologies to ensure continued enterprise value.
• Apply systems engineering to balance performance, cost, and durability across brake controls.
• Collaborate with machine teams to determine design selections and verification efforts.
• Drive process improvement initiatives in controls development and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer, Systems, or Ag Engineering.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Mossville, IL (domestic relocation available).
• Visa sponsorship is NOT available.
• Expertise in project management, analytical thinking, and critical decision-making.
• Proficiency in computer-aided controls systems development and product testing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing or product development environments.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of Engineering experience.
• Experience in lower powertrain component design or machine brake controls.
• Proven track record of delivering system integration projects on time and within budget.
