Salary: $120,000 - $165,000 yearly

What you will do

• Oversee security logistics and physical security operations for News personnel and spaces, including planning and execution of all remote operations.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts to protect employees, physical property, and intellectual property.
• Coordinate responses to dynamic, large-scale news stories using a follow-the-sun model.
• Establish security guidelines and coordinate mandatory security-related training for News employees.
• Collaborate with Global Security Operations and Cyber Security teams to track deployments and report incidents.
• Maintain strategic relationships with local and national law enforcement and government emergency response agencies.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience in media/news security, corporate security, military, or law enforcement.
• Proven experience in managing budgets, stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Strong knowledge of security concepts: deployment planning, vulnerability assessments, and incident response.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7 for emergencies and travel on short notice.

Nice to have

• HEFAT (Hostile Environment and First Aid Training) certification.
• Experience in border security, immigration enforcement, or intelligence operations.
• Experience working with senior-level executives and high-profile talent.
• Bachelor’s degree.
