What you will do

• Design and ship full-stack features across the Guardian monitoring platform, including UI, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Own features end-to-end from prototype and API design through production rollout and iteration.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate ambiguous requirements into clean, well-scoped solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design reviews to make sound trade-off decisions.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code while promoting observability and reliability best practices.
• Mentor teammates and participate in on-call rotations to ensure production reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience across both frontend and backend.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend development.
• Proficiency in Go (or similar) for backend services.
• Must be located within the United States.
• Strong product instincts and ability to navigate ambiguity in requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience building or deeply using monitoring, alerting, or observability systems.
• Familiarity with feature flagging, release automation, or developer tooling.
