What you will do

• Support design, manufacturing, modification, and testing of prototype and production vehicles.
• Provide guidance during manufacturing and support end-of-line testing at manufacturing sites.
• Perform troubleshooting on hardware, software, and electrical issues to enable initial vehicle handoff.
• Plan, document, and report on vehicle build and commissioning status to leadership teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders from Latitude, Ford, and other partners.
• Travel to OEM and partner sites to execute integration and commissioning tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with a Master's degree, or a PhD).
• Ability to produce and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical designs.
• Experience with vehicle prototyping and modifications for driver assistance or autonomy.
• Experience developing and executing procedures for configuration and checkout of sensors and compute systems.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux operating environment.
• Knowledge of automotive CAN and Ethernet communication protocols and associated test tools.
• Experience with JIRA and other program management toolchains.
