Senior Software Engineer (Calibration Automation)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Calibration Automation): Building next-generation calibration automation, intelligent agents, and scalable systems for Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) with an accent on intelligent workflows and automated delivery. Location: Hybrid: Must report to Milford, MI at least three times per week

What you will do

• Analyze infrastructure calibrations to determine structure, intent, and program applicability.
• Build automation and intelligent workflows for calibration settings across vehicle and cosim variants.
• Develop AI-assisted tools and scripts to generate, validate, and deliver calibration content.
• Create infrastructure components including data pipelines, diagnostic interfaces, and communication layers.
• Validate calibration behavior through simulation, cosim, and bench testing.
• Collaborate with platform teams and calibrators to ensure calibration readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Controls.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure software, embedded systems, calibration, or automation.
• Strong understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and diagnostics (UDS, GMW).
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Experience with microcontroller architectures and embedded software systems.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Milford, MI for a hybrid work schedule.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering or computer science.
• 6–8+ years of experience in calibration infrastructure or SDV-related software.
• Experience building ML-based calibration systems or agent-based workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud-connected calibration workflows or OTA ecosystems.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and automated validation.
