Salary: $171,000–$273,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency logging frameworks for massively parallel data streams.
• Define smart, dynamic data collection policies for high-fidelity snapshots and intelligent downsampling.
• Evaluate and tune file systems to maximize write speeds and guarantee data integrity.
• Collaborate with systems and hardware teams to optimize storage media (NVMe, SSDs) and kernel-level I/O performance.
• Mentor senior engineers, set coding standards, and drive the long-term roadmap for on-vehicle data management.
• Provide engineering support for field testing and fleet operations.

Requirements

• Expert-level C++ programming skills for high-performance, thread-safe, and memory-efficient systems in Linux.
• Proven experience with storage technologies, block devices, and file system constraints (write endurance, throughput).
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to navigate large codebases and collaborate effectively across time zones.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with performance evaluation and optimization.
• Strong programming skills in GoLang.
