Salary: $240,000 - $260,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to develop and implement the company's overall financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
• Manage financial risks and partner with Capital Markets and Accounting on debt and equity financing strategies.
• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and external stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability.
• Drive the establishment and evolution of organizational KPIs through stakeholder dialogue.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with a focus on FP&A and strategic finance.
• Experience at an entity with a balance sheet lending strategy in the fintech industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial management principles.
• Superior skills in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
• Location: Must be based in Jersey City, NJ.
