What you will do

• Recruit, hire, and mentor top-tier design talent with a passion for developer tools and security.
• Transform intricate technical requirements like encryption and access control into clear and safe user experiences.
• Align design strategy with product roadmaps to drive adoption across DevOps and Platform Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Security experts to define the future of identity-based security.
• Establish design patterns and workflows that balance security rigor with agile delivery.
• Champion the integration of AI tools to accelerate UX research and rapid ideation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing design teams in B2B, Enterprise Software, or Developer Tools.
• Proven track record of simplifying highly technical domains such as Security, Cloud Infrastructure, or DevOps.
• Ability to mentor designers through technical ambiguity and navigate career growth.
• Experience collaborating with product leadership to influence vision and roadmaps.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Zero Trust, Secrets Management (Vault), IAM, or network security.
• Understanding of multi-cloud ecosystems, OIDC, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience leading the creation or scaling of design systems for enterprise-grade applications.
