TL;DR

Data Management Analyst (Fintech): Supporting enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and transformation initiatives within a Chief Data Office environment with an accent on customer data strategy, business case development, and executive stakeholder engagement. Focus on translating complex data management challenges into actionable business solutions and driving data standardization across a highly matrixed organization.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Charlotte, NC; Dallas/Irving, TX; or Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

What you will do

  • Support the development of enterprise customer data and management strategies.
  • Analyze current-state data practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and funding proposals for large-scale initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership and governance teams to drive transformation efforts.
  • Assess data management risks, controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and produce executive-ready presentations and reports.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Business Analysis, or Management Consulting.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, risk management, and metadata concepts.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic recommendations and business cases.
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week in Charlotte, Dallas/Irving, or Phoenix.

Nice to have

  • Experience within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Background supporting Chief Data Office (CDO) organizations.
  • Experience in customer data strategy or customer analytics.
  • Management consulting background.
