hirify.global is a global payments company building infrastructure and processes to handle data responsibly across multiple international markets.

What you will do

  • Design and lead the implementation of a global privacy operations framework, including procedures and controls.
  • Support the Global DPO in fulfilling statutory obligations under UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and US privacy laws.
  • Manage engagements with global privacy regulators and maintain records of processing activities.
  • Oversee data subject rights requests, breach notifications, and regulatory enquiries.
  • Partner with engineering, security, and data teams to embed privacy-by-design principles.
  • Mature the global privacy risk register and report to senior leadership and boards.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in a senior in-house privacy role with direct operational responsibility.
  • Demonstrable expertise in UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and US privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA).
  • Recognized data protection qualification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM).
  • Proven experience building and scaling global privacy programs from the ground up.
  • Strong ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business processes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate across global time zones.

Nice to have

  • Law degree (LLB, LLM) or qualified solicitor/barrister status in the UK or EU.
  • Experience in FinTech, payments, or regulated financial services.
