Associate Legal Counsel (Fintech): Reviewing and drafting agreements that power the platform and advising on new product offerings with an accent on managing the vendor ecosystem and protecting the company’s interests in litigation matters. Focus on providing practical legal input throughout the product lifecycle and building the legal foundation for a rapidly growing legal function.

Location: Hybrid role, working from our London Offices (EC1Y 8LZ) 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Draft and negotiate vendor agreements and maintain customer-facing T&Cs for new products and product changes.
• Manage a small claims portfolio and coordinate with external counsel, while partnering with Customer Operations to identify and fix recurring legal friction points.
• Provide practical legal input throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design to go-to-market communications.
• Stay ahead of regulatory shifts and help create the internal policies, training, and processes needed for a rapidly growing legal function.

Requirements

• Qualified Lawyer with a current practicing certificate from a top tier university.
• 1–2 years PQE, preferably within a top-tier law firm or comparable Fintech environment.
• Strong foundational skills in contract law with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex legal risks to non-legal stakeholders.
• Able to work cross-functionally, partnering closely with Growth, Product and Operations to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
• Comfortable working in a "move fast" environment where priorities shift.
