What you will do

• Lead and develop a senior team of technical and analytical ICs responsible for automation, analytics, and reporting.
• Set strategy and prioritize high-impact opportunities to improve safety and risk operations across multiple domains.
• Build data infrastructure, operational health dashboards, SLA monitoring, and quality measurement systems.
• Design and implement workflow improvements including automated triage, routing, and signal enrichment.
• Identify and integrate AI, LLMs, and classifiers to improve operational speed and consistency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Policy, and Legal teams to translate operational insights into scalable tools.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in trust and safety, risk operations, data, analytics, or high-stakes operational environments.
• 4+ years of people management experience leading senior technical or analytical ICs.
• Strong technical proficiency in SQL, dashboarding, data quality, and automation design.
• Experience using LLMs, agentic workflows, or internal AI platforms to automate operational work.
• Ability to design human-in-the-loop review, monitoring, and quality control mechanisms.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA to support a hybrid work model (3 days/week in-office).

Nice to have

• Experience in adversarial abuse, integrity, or user safety at a scaled technology company.
• Knowledge of classifier development, eval design, and model-quality feedback loops.
• Experience building quality programs or audit processes for regulated workflows.
• Familiarity with vendor operations, BPO training, and scaled review programs.
