Salary: $124,397 – $138,003 per year

What you will do

• Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Quantify and articulate the value case for initiatives, focusing on cost savings, efficiency gains, and risk reduction.
• Manage expectations and alignment across executive leadership, functional organizations, and the engineering pod.
• Track progress through delivered outcomes and identify risks early to ensure milestones are met.
• Act as the final authority on whether the built solutions meet the business needs through validation with Domain SMEs.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis in tech.
• Proven experience owning a product backlog and making independent prioritization decisions.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams on software delivery.
• Expertise with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRM, or MES.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to executive-level stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in a product owner/manager role during system modernization or legacy replacement efforts.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their practical capabilities/limitations.
• Experience in manufacturing, defense, or complex enterprise environments.
• Track record of managing stakeholders with competing priorities.
