Location: Remote (100% telework). Must be a U.S. citizen and hold a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Salary: $124,397 – $138,003 per year

What you will do
- Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Quantify and articulate the value case for initiatives, focusing on cost savings, efficiency gains, and risk reduction.
- Manage expectations and alignment across executive leadership, functional organizations, and the engineering pod.
- Track progress through delivered outcomes and identify risks early to ensure milestones are met.
- Act as the final authority on whether the built solutions meet the business needs through validation with Domain SMEs.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or business analysis in tech.
- Proven experience owning a product backlog and making independent prioritization decisions.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams on software delivery.
- Expertise with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRM, or MES.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in a product owner/manager role during system modernization or legacy replacement efforts.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their practical capabilities/limitations.
- Experience in manufacturing, defense, or complex enterprise environments.
- Track record of managing stakeholders with competing priorities.
