TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (AI): Leading the development of an AI-native product experience for SMBs with an accent on agentic systems and trustworthy AI UX. Location: Remote (USA or Ontario, Canada)

Salary: $159,500 - $191,400 USD

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end customer-facing AI experience, defining, shipping, and iterating core flows.
  • Design trustworthy AI interactions that surface reasoning and graduate users from supervised to autonomous use.
  • Define and defend leading indicators for success, including activation, time-to-value, and owner intervention rates.
  • Collaborate with platform PMs and engineers to implement shared capabilities without creating technical debt.
  • Establish the evaluation bar for agent behavior, focusing on accuracy, safety, brand tone, and customer-appropriateness.
  • Conduct weekly customer research and analyze support tickets to integrate the voice of SMB owners into the roadmap.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of taking a 0-to-1 product from concept to scale.
  • Direct experience shipping LLM-powered features and agentic systems in production.
  • Deep technical understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and agent architectures.
  • Strong point of view on AI UX, specifically the balance between visible/invisible AI and permission-based actions.
  • Must be based in the USA or Ontario, Canada.
  • SaaS experience required; expertise with SMB customers strongly preferred.

Nice to have

  • Background in SMB SaaS or marketing technology.
  • Familiarity with multi-channel customer engagement.
  • Experience with PLG motions and self-serve onboarding.
