What you will do

• Design, implement, and deliver user stories using Python and C# API services.
• Enhance and maintain web services and background workers within an Agile development lifecycle.
• Identify and communicate technical debt and risk, and effect necessary resolutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on release and iteration planning.
• Review code for testability and maintainability while adhering to best practices.
• Mentor junior team members to ensure overall code quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 2+ years of professional experience with Python and Django.
• 2+ years of experience with C# and the .NET Framework/Core.
• 1+ years of experience with ASP.NET Web API and expert knowledge of RESTful patterns.
• Advanced knowledge of MSSQL, including data structuring for query optimization.
• Strong proficiency in Unit and Integration Testing techniques.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core, .NET 5, or .NET 6.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ, New Relic, and Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript.
• Experience reverse engineering legacy services and complex MSSQL stored procedures.
