What you will do

• Validate complex network engineering and design submissions against enterprise technical standards.
• Define the full network data lifecycle, from planning and drafting through decommissioning.
• Ensure physical and logical network assets are accurately modeled and synchronized in the central OSS.
• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise network inventory and discovery platforms.
• Architect reconciliation strategies between automated discovery tools and manual engineering inputs.
• Mentor engineering and design staff while advising leadership on system health, capacity, and infrastructure readiness.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in telecommunications or network engineering, OSS administration, or large-scale network operations.
• Expert knowledge of IP/MPLS, Ethernet, and optical transport technologies, including SONET/DWDM.
• Hands-on experience architecting or managing enterprise OSS or network inventory platforms such as Ericsson, Nokia, Oracle, Bentley, or similar systems.
• Practical knowledge of configuration management, automated discovery, and ITIL practices.
• Ability to influence senior engineering teams, establish enterprise technical standards, and drive process improvements.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries, energy, or mission-critical utility infrastructure.
• Success transitioning organizations from manual design methods to automated, data-governed digital modeling.
