What you will do

• Own the co-packaged optics strategy and define the strategic program for expanding CPO technology and product offerings.
• Drive CPO hardware development and adoption with customers, internal stakeholders, and ecosystem partners.
• Map network architectures across long-haul, data center interconnect, front-end, back-end, and compute fabric environments.
• Align technology and product roadmaps across network architecture and business units.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and startups in collaboration with executive teams.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in optics and network technology, including optical components, modules, and switches across multiple applications.
• Direct experience with CPO hardware, ecosystem and supply chain, silicon photonics, and laser technology.
• Experience with high-speed systems and system modeling, including applying models to CPO technology challenges.
• Experience with data communication protocols such as Ethernet and PCIe, as well as strong knowledge of high-speed SerDes.
• Strong understanding of modulation formats including PAM4 and coherent modulation, plus excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.
