What you will do

• Develop hardware and software test solutions for integrated circuits, circuit card assemblies, and box module builds.
• Create avionics component specifications and drawings for circuit boards and wire harnesses.
• Coordinate with vendors for technical compliance and collaborate with systems engineering on verification plans.
• Design, model, debug, and verify physical hardware for test fixtures and interfaces.
• Review schematics, assembly drawings, and manufacturing process flows to ensure electrical outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous quality improvement in the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical test manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency with lab and test equipment for design validation and debugging.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO, AS9100, and Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to generate and read schematics, assembly drawings, and parts lists.
• Must be based in or able to work from Englewood, Colorado.

Nice to have

• Experience in the space industry specifically with AS9100 standards.
• Experience with New Product Introductions (NPI) and transitioning R&D products to high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of avionics standards including NASA-HDBK-4001, NASA-STD-4003, SMC, IPC 620, and J-STD-001.
