What you will do
- Manage customer service queues and deploy resources to address technical issues.
- Perform on-site equipment installation, training, and ongoing support for global customers.
- Conduct application studies on customer samples and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation equipment.
- Coordinate with the quality team to analyze field failures and implement permanent reliability improvements.
- Manage spare parts inventory and develop support programs for legacy tools.
Requirements
- Degree in a Technical field (Electrical/Mechanical), Applied Sciences, or Engineering.
- 2-10 years of professional field service experience supporting automation or instrumentation capital equipment.
- Strong proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
- Proven background in equipment automation, specifically motion, electrical, and software interface troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to organize work effectively and meet project deadlines.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ultrasonic inspection technologies.
- Experience with microelectronics.
