What you will do

• Define and execute the unified platform technology strategy for data acquisition and processing with an AI-first mindset.
• Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing global team of platform and software engineers.
• Own operational KPIs for platform throughput, latency, and system availability across production environments.
• Collaborate with Product and Data Operations to industrialize data collection workflows and standardize best practices.
• Guide architectural decision records and design reviews to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Partner with executive leadership to define multi-year engineering roadmaps that drive business impact.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 12+ years of experience in large-scale software engineering or platform architecture.
• 10+ years leading technical teams, including managing managers and geographically distributed teams.
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud-native architecture, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proven success designing high-throughput, low-latency data ingestion and processing platforms.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems architecture, data modeling, and system reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, core data platforms, or large-scale information extraction systems.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
• Contributions to the platform engineering community via publications or open-source projects.
