• Lead and scale a multi-faceted team of engineers, including line managers and senior/staff ICs, building core application platform infrastructure.
• Own and define the multi-year technical strategy and organizational roadmap for the App Framework domain.
• Drive the predictable, high-quality delivery of complex, multi-quarter strategic initiatives across multiple product areas.
• Recruit top-tier engineering talent and champion the career development of engineers and managers.
• Institute processes and a culture of engineering excellence to maintain high technical standards.
• Align and influence product and engineering leadership across partner organizations to ensure platform success.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems, service frameworks, or platform infrastructure.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience leading strong technical teams.
• Technical judgment equivalent to a Staff Engineer in distributed systems and platform products.
• Proven success in attracting, hiring, and retaining top-tier talent and coaching senior (L5/L6) ICs.
• Experience building and running cloud platforms or a strong ability to learn the SaaS space.
• Must be based in the USA and fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
