What you will do

• Inspect incoming raw materials and in-process products using sampling plans and engineering prints.
• Perform first piece inspections and create customer/supplier PPAP dimensional layouts.
• Analyze defective parts to determine root causes and ensure effective product containment.
• Operate and program CMM tools and utilize various metrology instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Conduct process capability studies and manage gage maintenance, control, and calibration (MSA).
• Ensure strict compliance with IATF-16949 and ISO 14001 / 45001 standards.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong background in metrology, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Experience with PPAP and GP-12 / Safe Launch activities.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, Microsoft Access, and basic office software.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Batavia, NY facility.
