What you will do

• Design and build Kotlin APIs and backend services for distributed pacing and ad delivery systems.
• Own critical infrastructure driving optimization decisions across campaigns and audiences.
• Scale microservices to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Optimize existing services for better maintainability and performance.
• Provide technical leadership through peer reviews and mentorship.
• Collaborate with Business and Project Leads to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building distributed systems using Kotlin and Python.
• Expertise in SQL and non-relational databases, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture in production environments.
• Experience with Kafka or other high-throughput messaging systems.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Exposure to OpenRTB, DSP, or ad delivery optimizations.
• Comfort working with Rust and data platforms like PySpark.
• Enthusiasm for using AI tools in your workflow to enhance productivity.
